Windows registry is a database containing information about the configuration settings of this operative system. When we install or uninstall a program, or modify any of Windows' settings, all these changes reflect in the registry, which can become bulky and make our computer to work slowly. PC Medkit is a thorough registry cleaner and fixer that scans Windows registry, detecting all its errors and updating it so your system can work smoothly. You can set the program to run at Windows startup.

The program also has two other useful functions. The Startup Manager allows you to enable the programs and processes you want to start simultaneously with Windows, or disable those that are unnecessary and make startup slower. On its part, the Service Manager lets you stop the Windows programs that run in the background when Windows is active. Fewer running programs allows a better use of memory, speeding up Windows performance.

The shareware version allows you to detect your registry's errors, but not to repair them. To do so, you will need to purchase the complete version. Also, no new features are evident in comparing this version with the previous one.
